If the church is meant to be the hope of the world it needs to be the hope of the city first. What would happen if the church returned to its roots outside its walls and stewarded the city it was entrusted with?

The ministry of Jesus and the early church was focused on caring for those in need and looking after each other, and that mandate and foundational purpose is what we are still about today.
You can’t say you didn’t know. This is a chal You can’t say you didn’t know. This is a challenging quote. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all the injustice and suffering in the world, and to think that there’s nothing we can do to make a difference. But as Christians, we are called to be a part of the solution, not to ignore the problem. There are many ways we can be a part of the solution. We can share information about injustice and the issues facing our neighbours, communities, and the world. We can pray for those who are suffering. We can give our time or money to help those in need. No matter how small our actions may seem, we are called to do something. Let us not turn our backs on the problems around us.
