Lloydminster

Our Lloydminster Campus began a new journey in September 2024 of hosting their gatherings in the homes of church members. Seeking greater intimacy with Jesus and greater connection with each other - they are following the lead of the church in Acts 2:42 where we learn “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” . This Church Family meets on Sundays in various houses across the Lloydminster and Vermilion corridor of Hwy 16.

If you want to visit or connect with our church family contact Pastor Mike.

Mike & Cara Schalin

Lloydminster Campus Pastors

Mike and Cara will be the first to admit that they are hardcore Canucks fans, despite the good-natured ribbing they may receive from the other Campus Pastors. You’ll often find them out and about with their three kids, laughing, hanging out and figuring out new ways to have fun. Especially if it means Mike can avoid writing a website bio!

They love being a part of a community of imperfect people where everyone is loved and everyone has value.

Feature programs

We know that, as parents and as couples, we have the greatest influence on the spiritual growth of ourselves, our partners and our children. At Parallel Church, we provide programming that supports our community members in becoming the best they can be.

Our mission is to change the definition of what a church is, and what a church should be. Our passion drives our personal, spiritual and church leadership as we rewrite our stories together.

Most people want kids to sit down and be quiet. We want kids to stand up and be counted. Online and in person Parallel Kids programs involve worship, stories, activities, games and more!

Connect

Get to know one another and bond in an informal and relaxed setting. Along with in-person service, our community comes together through a variety of common interest groups for all ages, from coffee meetups to house parties.
